Announcement:
We are excited to announce the winners of the T-shirt design contest: Paula Martin Rivero and Eunhye Kim. After thoughtful review, voting, and rating of both the front and back designs, their work stood out as the winning entry. Congratulations!
About the T-Shirt Design:
Inspired by Antoni Gaudí’s architectural drawings for the Sagrada Família, this design draws on the idea that a structure can be understood through multiple viewpoints and scales. Gaudí’s process becomes a way of thinking about the CHI community as a collective and evolving body shaped by diverse disciplines, perspectives, and methods. Like the Sagrada Família itself, the design embraces collaboration, experimentation, and shared authorship over time.

It’s time to design our SV T-shirts! Each year, we invite students to create the awesome designs that our student volunteers (SVs) proudly wear as uniforms throughout the conference. If your design is chosen, you’ll secure a spot as an SV!
This year’s deadline is January 16th, 2026 (AoE), and submissions should be uploaded via Google Form.
Design Details
You are welcome to incorporate elements inspired by Barcelona, Spain, into your design, although this is not required. The most important aspects are that the design respects the local culture, is visually engaging, and stands out from the crowd.
Please submit both front and back designs. Note that we cannot print on the sleeves or right up to the edges of the shirts. Designs should use only ONE color, typically black or white, on a colored shirt.
The maximum imprint area is approximately 11″ (28 cm) wide by 13″ (33 cm) high, for either the front or the back of the shirt. You may include more than one imprint per shirt (for example, a large design on the back with a smaller design on the front).
You are welcome to reuse elements from the CHI 2026 logo in your design: [CHI 2026 Design Assets]
Submission Format
Please submit your mock-ups as PDF, JPG, or PNG files (maximum size: 10 MB). If your design is chosen as a winner, you will be asked to provide the final version in .eps or .ai format.
You may submit several designs or variations on a single design, should you so desire. You need to combine them all in ONE file before uploading it.
Selection Process
A winner will be selected soon after the deadline. We will notify both the winner and all participants who submitted designs. The selection process will involve the SV Chairs as well as other members of the organizing committee.
