Here’s a short FAQ about the Visa process.
A quick note from the GCs: All organizing chairs are volunteers and not paid staff; they are fellow researchers (like you!) dedicating their time to make this conference happen. We appreciate your kindness and patience as we balance this with our regular research and teaching responsibilities.

How do I get a visa letter?
Please register for the conference. During registration, you will be asked to provide the required details (such as your passport number), which we will use to issue the visa letter.
Can I get a letter before registering?
Only in rare cases with demonstrated need. In these cases, the letter is slightly different, since we cannot state that you are registered to attend. Therefore, please register first. This also helps with data protection and allows us to manage all the information in one place.
Important: Please double-check your registration details!
Please ensure your address, email, travel dates, passport number, nationality, and full legal name are exactly correct in the registration system. We issue letters based directly on this information. If your details are incorrect and you need a modification later, it might take another 5-7 days to process the request.
How soon will I receive my letter or a reply?
We’re receiving a high volume of emails, so replies usually take 5-7 days.
What is included in the visa letter?
By default, the visa letter is in Spanish and states that you will attend the conference (it does not specify whether you are an author, presenter, or general attendee). We can provide an English version upon request, but please keep in mind the processing time.
I have a visa appointment tomorrow!
We’ll try our best to help, but cannot guarantee last-minute requests. Please try to plan ahead!
